ABOUT

N

     he City, Unmasked.

New Orleans is more than a destination —
it is a rhythm, a culture, and a story
best experienced with guidance from
those who know it intimately.

Beyond Bourbon Street  invites you into a more personal version of the city,
shaped by local knowledge, trusted relationships,
and thoughtfully designed moments
that move beyond the expected.

T

here The City Opens.

Beyond Bourbon Street is designed for travelers who want to feel welcomed into the rhythm of New Orleans
rather than guided through it.

We design experiences that reveal its quieter elegance —
private courtyards behind historic facades,
tables known only to regulars,
music that unfolds naturally after midnight,
neighborhoods explored at the pace
they were meant to be experienced,
and moments that cannot be found on an itinerary alone.

Each stay is shaped through local knowledge,
thoughtful pacing, and the kind of access
that transforms a visit into a true sense of place.

W

It's not about seeing more.
It is about experiencing the city differently.

magine Your Story.

Every traveler arrives in New Orleans for a different reason —
celebration, reconnection, curiosity,
or simply the desire to experience the city well.

A girls’ escape might unfold through long lunches
and private shopping appointments
before evenings filled with music and candlelight.

Couples may find themselves lingering over quiet courtyard dinners and late-night walks beneath iron balconies.

Families discover a version of the city where generations connect through shared stories, unforgettable meals,
and moments designed for both wonder and ease.

However you arrive, Beyond Bourbon Street
shapes the experience around you —
revealing a New Orleans that feels personal, effortless,
and entirely your own.

I

     here You Stay Matters.

From historic grand dames
to intimate boutique hideaways,
where you stay shapes how the city reveals itself.

We guide clients toward properties that reflect both
New Orleans’ character and your personal travel style — places where service feels intuitive, atmosphere feels authentic, and every return at day’s end
feels like coming home to the city itself.

The weekend began
the way all great New Orleans stories should —
with champagne already waiting upstairs in the Presidential Suite at Windsor Court,
transformed into a beautiful home base for
celebration, connection, and
days designed entirely around them.

A private driver remained on call throughout the stay, allowing each experience to unfold seamlessly —
 never rushed, never waiting,
simply moving from one
memorable moment to the next.

Arrival evening eased gently into the city’s rhythm with an insider-led exploration of beloved neighborhood music venues and local bars
— the kind quietly recommended by those who know New Orleans best —
live jazz spilled into the streets and
the night felt less like sightseeing
and more like belonging.

The next morning began in style at the legendary Yvonne LaFleur, where a private hat-making and dress-fitting experience turned mirrors, ribbons, and champagne into an occasion of its own. Newly dressed in frocks and fascinators, the group continued toward Magazine Street, boutiques unfolding one after another while their driver remained nearby to whisk away packages along the way.

Lunch followed at neighborhood favorite Lilette, lingering just long enough to feel like locals, before the afternoon turned creative inside Dunn & Sonnier,
where floral designers guided
an exclusive arranging experience
using blooms selected especially for them —
each bouquet thoughtfully created
for what came next.

At Longue Vue Gardens,
a private photoshoot captured the day in full color:
hats perfectly placed, flowers in hand,
laughter echoing beneath the oaks —
a moment designed not just to be remembered,
but preserved.

Then came Arnaud’s.

A private French 75 cocktail experience
welcomed them inside.
A chef’s greeting offered a glimpse behind the scenes.
Dinner unfolded in an exclusive balcony
dining room overlooking the French Quarter
as a strolling jazz band passed below —
pausing, as if perfectly timed, to serenade the table.

The following morning arrived slowly, beginning with room service delivered to the suite as everyone prepared for the day ahead. Soon after, Commander’s Palace welcomed them for jazz brunch
in a private dining room
alive with laughter, music, and second pours.

The afternoon was intentionally unhurried — a hotel day devoted to spa treatments, poolside lounging, and the rare luxury of nowhere else to be.

The final evening ended exactly where it should:
back in the suite, transformed once more for a custom movie night already staged —
popcorn waiting, music softly playing, heels abandoned by the door.

Family Holiday
               in New Orleans

Their “Holiday in New Orleans” story began not at an attraction,
but the moment they arrived at the airport — where a private driver welcomed the family curbside before delivering them to
their exquisite hotel already transformed for the season.

A Christmas tree glowed beside the windows,
stockings hung in quiet anticipation, and the city outside felt instantly personal.
From that moment forward, New Orleans unfolded as if designed just for them.

Mornings balanced wonder with ease. At the Audubon Zoo, exclusive behind-the-scenes animal encounters brought generations together — grandparents asking questions alongside wide-eyed grandchildren
as keepers introduced residents rarely seen up close.
At the Audubon Aquarium, a private penguin encounter
turned into the kind of laughter-filled memory retold long after the trip ended.

One afternoon carried them into living history at the National WWII Museum,
where a private vault tour revealed artifacts few visitors ever see,
followed by VIP access that allowed the family to explore at their own pace,
guided by stories tailored to every age around them.

Between experiences, their driver remained quietly on call, making transitions effortless — warm beignets appearing at just the right moment,
spontaneous stops encouraged because timing never had to be managed.

The city’s traditions became experiences of their own.
A private snowball-making lesson introduced the sweet science behind a New Orleans classic, while a VIP swamp tour offered calm waters, storytelling guides,
and wildlife encounters that felt immersive rather than staged.

Another day brought creativity into the journey with a private cooking class
at the New Orleans School of Cooking, where recipes passed between generations alongside laughter, flour-dusted counters, and the unmistakable aroma
of dishes they would later recreate at home.

On the Mississippi River, a privately arranged riverboat cruise
revealed another side of the city.
The family toured the engine room with the crew,
spoke directly with the captain about navigating the river’s rhythms,
and watched the skyline drift past from a perspective few travelers experience.

Holiday evenings became traditions of their own.

A luxury van carried the whole family together through Celebration in the Oaks,
lights reflecting across windows as stories and songs filled the ride.
Later, Storyland opened into a world of festive nostalgia —
merriment shared equally by children
and adults who found themselves just as enchanted.

Another night became a curated holiday lobby hop, with pre-arranged cocktails, cocoa, and festive bites awaiting them at each grand hotel along the route —
every stop seamless, every welcome anticipated.

Throughout it all, the logistics remained invisible.

What the family remembers now is simpler:
laughter echoing through museum halls, lights reflected in children’s eyes,
and the rare feeling that everyone — every generation —
experienced the trip fully, together.

New Orleans reveals itself slowly —
through music heard around corners,
conversations that linger,
and moments that feel unexpectedly personal.

When the details are thoughtfully arranged,
the city stops feeling like somewhere you visit
and begins to feel like somewhere you know.
